If you knew her, you loved her.

Melanie passed away this morning and is now off on her next journey with her teal wings. We ask for no flowers but donations can be made in her name to ovarian cancer research on this page.

Melanie loved life and we loved her. Mel had low-grade serous ovarian cancer. A rare cancer which affects approximately 1 in 1000 women in their lifetimes, who are often young like her. Your donations will go directly to research to find better treatments so that in the future, women with this cancer can have more time, and ultimately live a life beyond their diagnosis.
