This Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month (September) we’re getting active to raise funds for cancer research in honour of Jane.

Jane was diagnosed with low-grade serous carcinoma in 2017. Her doctors told her with current treatments she likely had 5 to 15 years to live. At 32 years old, that fell short of expectations to say the least. So she’s been fundraising for research to find better treatments ever since.

“Every few months I have a scan to see if my cancer treatment is still working, in between I try to live my life as normally as I can and stay active. I’m going to walk up Mt Roy, in honour of the friends of lost, and in the hope that I will one day have a life without cancer.” – Jane

Cure Our Ovarian Cancer is dedicated to finding a cure for low-grade serous ovarian cancer –  a hard to treat subtype which affects young women like Jane.
